As the N96 was more a step back in time an development, this phone seems
to be very atractive.





The N97 will come out to market during the first half of 2009.
Nokia has announced as part of Nokia World that its new model
will use a 3.5-inch touch screen and a physical qwerty keyboard
hidden under.
The screen can be tilted 35 degrees, for a purpose similar to that of most
a lap top. It is not the notebook that some expected, but it is
symptomatic that relates to the Nokia N97 as a 'mobile computer'.
The terminal is equipped with 32 GB of internal memory, expandable up
the 48 GB via a microSD card, 16 GB, with a camera
5 megapixels with flash and Zeiss optics. The N97 uses the fifth
edition of the operating system Symbian S60, the same platform tailored
management through the touchscreen 5800.
In fact, the N97 are repeated some of the functions provided with
the 5800, as the selection of up to four contacts whose picture appears
in the initial screen for direct consultation and the
Most recent communications with them. This feature
complete with the possibility of locating 'widgets' custom at the
initial screen.
Coinciding with the launch of this new smartphone, the first of
its N series of 'multimedia computers' fitted with keypad, Nokia has
made improvements in its services, such as Maps and IFO. In

markets for Nokia, said that the signing intends to
deepen the integration of the various services together under
OVI brand, which currently require separate identities, if
either has not specified when this integration will occur.
